Lockheat started making beats around the turn of the millennium. In 2004 he hooked up with MOD the Black marvel who took him under his wing and introduced him to the SuperCharger team. He went on to produce several beats for MOD the Black Marvel, Ciph Barker, Adison, Concrete, TNT, Kain Slim, J-Spine, Huizbaaz and co-produced for Killah Priest and others.

Lockheat is no stranger to “outside-the-box-thinking” when it comes to creating music, he can go from beating up MPC’s to picking up a guitar and laying down psychedelic soundscapes that border on the abstract. The love for a dusty, deep sound is evident in the majority of his productions.
